Using Lumiva
How do I apply Lumiva?
- 1. Prep. For the initial treatment, gently file the top of the wart with an emery board or nail file so it better absorbs the cream.
- 2. Apply & cover. At night, apply one pump of Lumiva to the wart, making sure it's thoroughly covered, then cover with a bandage.
- 3. Boost. For faster results, re-apply in the morning as well.
How many warts will one bottle treat?
Each bottle treats 2 average sized warts. One pump is sufficient for an average sized wart. If you're treating several warts or larger plantar warts, our multi-bottle bundles offer the best value per bottle.
Can I apply it more than once a day?
Yes. Nightly application under a bandage is all you need, but many customers notice faster results when they apply Lumiva both in the morning and before bed.

Can children use Lumiva?

An adult should always apply it, and we recommend checking with your pediatrician before treating very young children.
Will removing a wart leave a scar?

For the best result, avoid picking or cutting the wart while it heals.

Warts often return when treatment stops too early and some of the infected tissue remains. Keep applying Lumiva until the wart is completely gone. Since Lumiva helps the skin regenerate healthy cells, it helps keep warts from coming back. To lower your risk of new warts, keep feet clean and dry, wear sandals in public showers and pool areas, and don't share towels or nail files.
